  • Has 25 years of professional experience as a business development consultant of different sector, being CEO for different institutions. In the past 8 years he has transformed JREEEF from being a component of the REEE Law to becoming a real operating efficient national governmental organization. He designed JREEEF’s strategy and plans. He also coordinated efforts with the international Donors & organization/NGOs to help Jordan face global climate change challenges and help promote low-carbon economic activities and sustainable energy. He led fund raising efforts from donors securing over USD 100M in 7 years from different international donors and led efforts to implement national awareness campaigns related to renewable energy and energy efficiency. Rasmi has advocated for renewable energy laws and regulations and all levels including the Cabinet, Parliament, the private sector, business associations, local NGOs and people of Jordan, as well, playing active role in promoting Climate change challenges through active participation COPs and different media tools.
